Read the ingredient labels of every
food you eat! Manufacturers change the ingredient
labels all the time.
Carry an Epi-pen & wear a medic-alert
bracelet, if your allergy is severe.
Work with the teachers at your
school if emergency procedures are not in
place for children with life-threatening
food allergies. The teachers love to learn!
Ask your friends to "Be a PAL".
PAL stands for Protect A Life and many of
my friends in class watch out for me during
school. They don't want to see me get sick,
so if they bring in a peanut butter sandwich
during lunch, they sit at another table
- that's a PAL!
